Change their petpet's name to "change your pw" and leave their inventory with piles of dung, so they'll know that there is something wrong

But I've seen plenty of old premium accounts that have five pets that were last seen long, long ago or stealth. (I've never gotten in one yet, though. Curious if it makes you abandon one immediately)
After they raised the minimum to five, I'd assume no? Super dick move to make a user abandon a fifth pet when free users can have five pets.

Why aren't we all looking at the accounts before logging into them first? I never think of logging into any account that isn't mine before I look at the account and make sure it's inactive before logging into it. Sure it's a pain with the capchas, but it prevents events like this from happening.at least you're doing the right thing, but it's all still preventable.

Uh, I do look at the accounts. This account hasn't had a site event trophy since DD 2013, its active avatar is feed florg, and it has 1 sad/hungry BD pet. So there was nothing for me to assume/reasonably believe that it was still an active account. I look at all accounts because if it doesn't look at least semi-decent I'm not gonna waste a login attempt, since after a few of those they start sending back bad password for everything. If an account has any trophies from about 2015 onwards I don't mess with them.

When was it last seen? If it's not long long ago, there's no point in touching it, even if it's stealth. I set my last login to stealth when I played back back inn the day just because I wanted to. I'm not bashing you directly but these threads pop up often and it just confuses me why people try going in an account if it says anything other than last seen: long, long ago. I'm just trying to see the perspective from the other side of things I guess.

No expert on this but I'm guessing because many inactive old accounts are set to stealth. It would make the market a lot smaller to not touch those accounts just because of that setting. As long as you don't mess with the account once you realize it was recently used I don't find anything wrong with it... ofc there's always the danger of assuming an account is inactive when it's actually not. That's why you have to change the setting from stealth when securing an account... to make sure you don't accidently mess with an active. Thumbs up for this board!! Wish all hackers were like you

But if you DO roll the dice with a Stealth account: if you log in WITHOUT being birthday prompted that means its been active sometime within the past (i think) 360 days. Now if you DO have to enter the birthday while logging into a Stealth account, immediately go to the user preferences page to see if the owner has the “log in birthday prompt” option turned on. If they dont, im pretty sure that means they havent “been seen since a long long time ago”. Not sure of the precise day counts for them but thats how I judge them

From an account glance, I go off site event trophies, how many pets they have, if their pets are happy, and obviously last login date. If it's stealth, and they don't have any recent site event trophies and their pets are sad, I'm gonna try it. Neolodge your pets guys, seeing happy pets is an immediate "This person is very active/cares about their pets" flag.

Once i'm in an account, the first thing I check is inventory. If they have any recent items there, I'll log off. If they have semi recent items (Advent Calendar 2016, etc), I'll make a note of the account and check on it periodically. If its a "really good" (value of 100m NP or more) account and its unsecured, i'll generally do something to get their attention. Usually I send a PIN request to their email account, as that would make me check everything and resecure it. The account mentioned in the first post has nothing PINned. I emailed them and haven't gotten a response.
