Some quick math for those wanting the I-Staff.
960 points / number of days (8) - the event say items can be donated until the 17th. Not sure if that means the event ends 16th night or 17th night. Let's assume 16th.
That's 120 points per day.
According to the current point system on the official FAQ page:
r1-r79: 1 point
r80-89: 2 points
r90-97: 6 points
r98-r100: 4 points
Sticky Snowball: 1 point (a restriction in 2020, despite being r100)
r101: 1 point
r102-r179: 8 points
That makes it;
15x r102-r179 per day or 30x per day for 4 days
or
20x r90-r97 per day or 30x per day for 6 days
or
30x r98-r100 per day for each of the days the event will run
You could always mix and match rarities. But essentially you'd need to donate atleast 120 points a day for the 8 days, to be able to get the I-Staff.

As of now that's what it seems to be, as we're capped at donating a maximum of 30 items per day.
For I-staff wanters, it isn't even going to cost more than a million NP (as of this writing) donating 30 omelettes of rarities R102 or higher daily over 8 days. Although still not equivalent to WoDF, I ain't complaining for such a bargain

There are only 180 for 8 points
Maybe I have to buy another 240 8 cents?

don't forget there is an autoplayer for cheat and you can easily get high rarity battlecards

Nonetheless like you said, it's still a cheap trade off for an I-Staff. I'm more curious to see what this does to the price of the staff itself.

Hmmm it seems more people have joined illusen. I hope theres no special avatar/bonus item/trophy etc for winning team :/
Previous vs events (like gamemaster challenge) usually only gave a fairly meh wearable to the wearing team, apart from that the only real difference was the winning team trophies were gold, the losing was silver (just a colour difference, the trophy levels were otherwise identical).
