It's Summertime!

It's finally summer time!
(at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere!)



So, I want to know...

What is your favourite thing to do in the summer? Are you a total beach bum? Lake lifer? How do you like to stay cool? Popsicles, ice cream, good old fashioned AC?
Maybe you have a favourite memory from the summer time? I wanna hear about it!

I will go first!

As a kid, we would always go to the outdoor waterslide park in June at the end of the school year. We would stay all day until we were EXHAUSTED. There was this one slide that was super scary to me, it was really fast, had big drops and was in pitch black. I remember the year I turned 12, I was FINALLY brave enough to go down it by myself. So I did, and it was a blast! Once it was time to leave, we'd get a twist (chocolate and vanilla swirled) soft serve ice cream cone.

I kinda remember this, but I don't think the person who did it had bad intentions or sth, they just wanted to find the eggies and after being notified that it wasn't the way to get the UB, they correct and started normal playing. Just a missunderstanding.

Finally able to share my summer with you guys!
as you may now I'm from latin america which means i live in a constant summer (yeah, even when we are on winter the wheater is hot on mornings)

here on my country we have a lot of things to enjoy on that sunny and hot days and i will share some with you!

first heres a pic of a "granizada" which you may recognise as a slushie? Im not quite sure, however we have many variations, some with spicy, lemon, soy sauce, we have the sweet ones with pinneaple, tamarindo syrups and whatnot
granizadas are very tasty and you can get one for 1$ (or less)

and i saw everyone sharing popsicles so... here, we have these

which are traditional ice-cream that you can get for less than .50$ and they are very, very tasty *-*

and well, past weekend I went to a local natural reserve where there is a cascade and you can swim on it called "Los chorros de pepe milla"´

place was really beautiful and tbh helps a lot with the constant 30-40°C degrees hot wheater I live on.

Yes earl grey is deliciousss there are definitely bubble tea chains that use it for their milk tea with pearls too super tasty! Also that is interesting though it wasn't strong, because I feel like eg is one of the stronger teas xD (probably not as strong as a red though...?)

Red and black teas are the same, according to my bf. He says in Chinese, black tea is translated to red tea because of the color. Might be the same in Korean. For some reason, English calls it black tea.
