    Favourite book series?

As a well-known bookworm, I have my favouite books, but there are series that grip the imagination and pull on the mind like the tides, returning to remind me of the secrets that they have yet to unfold. Do you have a favourite book series that you have returned to time and again, or which have burned themselves on your mind?

Example: Francine Rivers - The Mark of The Lion trilogy

I don't always read Christian fiction, but this particular author had me diving headfirst into her stories with rich imagery and even better characterization. I laughed, cried and got truly angry at and with various characters, even fell a little bit in love. I have managed to read this five times in as many years and I still wouldn't mind going back.

I have got to say the book "The ghost of fossil glen" and all the books after it are my favorites... However I have recently started the Divergent series and they are pretty good!

    Harry Potter yep
Also the Blood of Eden series and the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa, The Selection by Kiera Cass and, so far, The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken.
Loved the Divergent series in general too but the last book kinda ruined it for me.

    Just finished re-reading Jean M. Auel's Earth's Children series.
Awesome. Each of the books has a special something to it but I could curl up and get lost in them for ages.

I am gonna have to go with Harry Potter haha.. obsessively re-reading them since I was like 15 or so. Close second would be The Hunger Games, followed by the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield.

i think everyone should read the power of five, its a good series but i felt the last book was a little rushed especially the end but it was a good series
and don't go anywhere near the alchemyst series the last book was a disaster it didnt tie stuff up the whole thing felt rushed, again, but the first 4 books were v engaging.
