You are extremely pretty either way.

I have been on BC for the past 5 years, I haven't noticed any kind of weight difference. switching from shots to pills, even.

Do you take estrogen or progesterone? I've heard more people gain weight with the progesterone (what I take) than estrogen. Everyone's bodies react differently though!

Btw you guys are too kind with the comments <3
I've been depressed lately with my weight and you guys make me feel a whole lot better

I had to go look and then google cause drinking.

But it's estrogen, I have however used both progesterone shots/pills as well and never experienced it, but maybe that's because I was losing weight in the process (currently like 166 within the two years - fuck yeah!)

The only time I noticeably went up a little bit was right after I first got one of the shots with progesterone and and was feeling bloated as a side effect.

The bloating is just awful! I honestly feel pregnant most of the time.

But yeah I hate all of the hormones in my body- slightly scared to go to paragard though since there's nothing to really, back it up? I know the stats are like 99.2% or something, but someone has to fall between that .8% ._.

Yo, also late to the party, but I've also got the implanon and I love it. I used to get bitchingly crampy periods, I'd bleed like a motherfucker and they'd last forever. I've only had the implanon for 3 months now, but the cramping has almost completely disappeared. My bleeding has also been far less than usual. I do spot slightly, but it's not enough to worry about. I've only bled about 2 weeks (spotting, mind you) out of the 3 months I've had it. The insertion is painless. Like really. The worst part was getting the anesthesia. Once that kicked in, he put the implant in, and I felt him leaning on my arm, then he said he was done and I was like wait no you're not, I didn't feel anything.

if you can deal with my semi drunken ramblings, i can deal with 1 am ones, so allgoodd.

i'd ve terrified of paragard. but then again thats because my sister had something like that done and she had pregnancy issues for 5+ years (was a good thing, mind you, because my niece is the spawn of satan)

And I haven't gained any weight on it. I've actually lost a few pounds, although that might be because I'm a bit of a fatty, and I have weight to lose, and I've been working my ass off to get rid of it. Like seriously, you don't even understand xD

I've heard the exact opposite! Like when women get it removed they get pregnant like two weeks later LOL

Idk man I just don't wanna be fat or have a kid yet. Someone should kick mother nature in her uterus.
