Pet Slots might be coming soon

The problem with this increase in pet slots is that they don't handle it very well on userlookups or other areas of the site. It still bugs me to this day that the lab ray does not have the pets centre-aligned and partly over-runs the button; and I only have three pets!

Also, maybe someone can answer this for me. Why do you want so many pets? I always have a three max (two I like and a lab). I cannot fathom wanting to have ten pets on one account.

For me personally I enjoy world building and character creation with my pets (so the more the merrier). Having my pets split up on sides is just an absolute pain. I tend to only log into sides if I remember to use the labray or to make sure the pets are checked into the lodge. All my NC is on my main, and its also an inconvenience to send it all over the place/it costs GBCs and that honestly just sucks. Despite my side account pets having characters and stories, they end up getting side lined more often than note due to just not being all in one place. If I could just have them all together it would be much easier to customize and put effort into them. Pets are the whole point of Neo for me. I can live without NP or games, but my goofy pets are what keeps me coming back day after day. So honestly I’d love nothing more than to have every one of my side account pets on my main.

I agree with you though on how the site is going to handle the change though. Not feeling very optimistic about how the pets will be displayed basically anywhere.

Still no news? It would feel odd to release the news on a random Tuesday so maybe this will come out Friday?

Friday makes sense to release pet slots so that if anything breaks we have to wait all weekend for TNT to do anything about it.

I've come to realize that, while I've never had completely full accounts, they will always be about 85% full. As the max crept from 21 to 31, so did my total number of pets. An extra labrat here, accidentally becoming a permanent guardian of pet I was holding onto for "a month or two" there, so with no limit I could see myself gradually filling up more and more.

I don't really know what I'll do because most of the pets I like are UC and I hate trading and I have no good fodder and I'm not that slick, but we'll see what happens.

If anything, I'm looking forward to be able to put all my pets of the same category in the same places.

A dumb thought, but what if the packages are extra transfers instead of extra pet slots, so that people can take advantage of the extra slots?

Mostly just spitballing. I'd definitely want them to do something for transfers if they've got a lot more pet slots coming. If they don't, well... *fires up the pound sniper*

why not do both pet slots AND some kind of item that gives more monthly transfers in the NC Mall? Think of all the money TNT could make.
