kittyray completely maxed out her luck, so there was no way she wasn't going to get a final evolution. Boss parenting!

Quick question regarding this Bat - I'm on my second branch, so I (hope and assume!) that I'll be able to make it to the final evolution of this branch before I hop over. Is the algorithm geared towards letting me move "forward" so to speak towards the branch that I haven't yet been on or is it completely random and I might end up back on the dragon branch?

Branch jumping is also dependent on your luck in the same way as evolution, @(you need an account to see links). If you max out your luck, then you're guaranteed to evolve on the same branch. If your luck is particularly bad, then you won't evolve at all. There's a sliding threshold that changes depending on the level of the evolution which determines how likely you are to jump between branches.

I guess turning babysitting helped a lot with maxing out luck. I feel like I interacted wayyyyy more when I was testing the portable Ryu, but still didn't manage the third evo (never gonna let myself live this down, tbh), but a lot of the times felt like I was "competing" to actually get the interactions in, but now it's just me. I feel a little selfish, but I think I'm too much of a completionist to risk allowing it again. ;-;

Omg! Ganny changed into a kitty! I’m so excited!! So far I’ve had the first ryu, changed into a chameleon, then back into the first ryu form, and now into a kitty!!
