Nope

We've tried a few things, checking on Ryus at different times of day, posting moons on userpages, interacting with Ryus that the owners names contain the letters 'm' 'o' 'o' 'n', etc.
Nothing. Though some people were able to get it relatively quickly after hatching so there is some form of catch we are missing.

What about hatching at night?

I noticed I had a new evolution this morning and the hearts a pleanty background but still no moon one for me.

So now we have some new facts towards working it out!

- It has been awarded during the day, and on a Tuesday. So its not limited to night.
- Users with newly hatched Ryus were able to unlock it - Age seems to play little to no part in this
- Seeing as Erik.s Ryu is evolved, we can deduce that evolving doesn't prevent it being awarded

Were making progress ^^
