yea like i post on the boards like only a couple of times a year at most and like, after like a huge spell of like 3-4 months of not posting i got emails asking to trade even tho i barely post so the stalking is real man
If nothing, I've learned that it's important to keep an eye on an account/UC after securing them. Even if you don't log into the account, just check up on it every so often to make sure it's staying inactive and that the pet's staying where it should.

One of my accounts was recently frozen, not sure why. It may have been stalked and someone reported it, but I fear there's no use in trying to get it back. Had 2 special pets on it/NC that I'm sad about.
Never posted on the boards and definitely didn't do anything that would have brought attention to it, but maybe somewhere in there I did. I won't ever know :/

i actually did buy an uc once
i don't even remember the name or what species it was and i haven't seen the website again since i've been looking recently
(i know bit stupid i don't remember the one time i did it but it was maybe 7 years ago now and a lot has happened in between then)
and i traded it off and never got into trouble lol
i think i've got at least one side that nobody would ever know about, unlinked to my main, the pets and username don't have names you'd stumble upon randomly
so it's something i'm going to think about and probably end up doing in the near future
i want to play the game for me
and i'm not fussed about having to post on the boards

also i don't know if it's helpful or on topic,
but i'm 100% convinced i've made a trade for a bought or stolen UC
and i have no plan to report it so i'm assuming nothing bad will happen to it
the worst that would happen would be a reversal because i didn't have anything to do with the other side of it but i really like the pet and do you know what
i think the pc should just let people buy pets offsite and bring them into the trading chain
like if they shut up and just went with it regardless they might end up with some of their dreamies because there might be more around
