I have an ASUS Rog Ally and I think that’s a great alternative to the steam deck personally! Especially if you play Xbox stuff. I’ve been playing lots of different things on my Ally because it’s windows based!

I'd never heard that ASUS made a handheld! That's pretty nice looking too!
Are you able to install steam since it's windows based? It looks like it'd be a lot easier to get different types of games running such as FFXIV.

Getting that installed (since I own the non steam version) was a huge headache. 😪

Yes. The whole point of it being Windows based is so you can play any game, whether it’s on Steam, Epic, Battle.net, Xbox, etc!

i just started playing Helldivers 2 with my bf and it is quite fun so far!! sidenote - idk if i'm bad at the game or something, but while it is fun i think it can be pretty difficult bc the enemies overpower me a lot. i need to be revived so much ^^;

also still fortnite bc i will never not play that game. thinkin of starting ffxiv back up again too because i've been on a little hiatus and miss my character ;;

I'm playing palworld! It's scratching my perpetual Pokemon itch. I think it's great. It's light weight on survival and heavy weight on fun. I've got all but 5 pals captured. I slowed down playing it for now since I'm getting tired of falling through the map haha. A new patch is coming out this month and I'm hoping it will fix the issue. The game is in beta still so it's not unexpected to have these issues.

I honestly have the urge to go and play pokeclicker now that I think of it. Anyone Here every play that game?

It's a great, opensource, clicker/idler game. I highly recommend it! Let me know what you think of it.

I am loving it!! I threw my shoulder out yesterday and have lost the use of my dominant arm temporarily, so this game has been a lifesaver from boredom. XD

I just got back into emulating some games, and it took me FOREVER to remember the name of a game I used to love on the DS: Knights in the Nightmare. I'm currently going through a replay of it now (: I'm also playing some Call of Duty here and there.

Was going to get HD2, then realized it had the kernel-level rootkit anti-cheat. Nope.jpg....maybe later I'll play it using a VM.

Back to indie games taking a break from BG3. Just finished Mutazione, it's a great game. Loved the story and the characters. Trying out Norco. Loving the music and apocalyptic vibe so far...no idea where I am going to end up with this one lol
