Easiest way is to lose a BD fight, easy 0 HP.

I've been trying to have pets with <10HP max anyway (although that doesn't help with healing springs overheal), but other options are the wheels of mediocrity and excitement.

It's not easy to do it with other pets since you'd want at least 200 intel on them.

I found that adopting a low HP pet and buying books or finding them in my sdb worked well. Can also use cliffhanger (and the script on here) to boost them. I also use that pet as a random event catch - it's stats are all messed up now haha

Bumping up again - last few hours of the day the odds improve even more! If you can wait until 10pm NST or later that's when the time is the best!

It looks like the maximum possible points is 68, yet kings shield is pretty rare, considering you need 58-59 points to get it..
After all this time, it seems you can get 1,000,0000 NP from CS...

For the best odds,

1. Visit between 00:00:00 NST and 00:59:59 NST, as well as between 22:00:00 and 23:59:59 NST (since you can visit twice a day!)
2. Have your active pet's intelligence be over 200
3. Have your active pet's current HP be less than 10

I decided to try it now (~6:15amNST) because I likely won't catch the above times you mentioned. I don't have +200 intelligence either, so my bonuses are <10 health and January 15th. I got a Coltzans Gem which is a step above what I usually get (burnt food)
