They still have really old plot prize shops around, they tend to keep those! i have lots of random points sitting around from old plots.Oh I didn't think about it that way. Might be a good idea.

I agree as well with holding your points if you still have some left. It's really hard to say what is a good investment since we don't know when said investment will pay off.
If you're undecided, then hold your points for when you find a seller in the future.

Will this turn into an actual full blown plot, or that was it? Seems pointless to just have a bunch of clickables for a week. But have we ever had a prize shop so early in a full plot before?
