A Nantucket cranberry pie! That is also sort of like a cake. Or a clafoutis even? In any case, it was super easy to make! If you have normal baking ingredients you just need a bag of cranberries/some pecans or walnuts, so I high recommend it :3 (my boss gave me the recipe and said it's great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream too, I just don't have have any at the moment)

Xmas is my favourite time of year, because all the yummy seasonal flavours come out!
Incidentally I meant to grab the rum flavoured custard, however this brandy one has been surprisingly nice! I'll take another photo once I get the yummy rum one!

Because I am uneducated, I thought you burnt your cheesecake. But I had to do further research and looked up the recipe. So now I see that is the way it was created. Upon reading recipes I see that it sounds delicious. This will be the next cheesecake that I make. Thanks for sharing this yummy cake.

no, no, you're not uneducated at all, silly! although it was created decades ago, it only became popular in recent years (i think during covid19 period?) everyone was trapped at home in my country, and everyone became professional bakers. 😂😂

it's similar in appearance but the textures are quite different! burnt basque cheesecake has a liquid-y centre and caramelized at the outside! but both of the cakes are delicious, i must say!
