It's a new year and with that comes new goals!? So what are your 2025 reading goals? Personally, I set a goal of reading 15 books. But given I'm starting book 5 right now I think I need to boost that number a bit! Maybe to 25? Do you have book on your Must Read list for then year? Right now I have a few shelved in my Good Reads (How to Sell a Haunted House, and a few Stephen King books (The Institute and Fairy Tale)) What are they!? For future you...did you reach that goal!? What were some of your favourite reads of the year. Can't wait to see you accomplish your 2025 goals!

I’ve set my goal on GoodReads to be 50 books this year. So far, I’ve finished 7. I’m off to a good start thus far!

Last year, my goal was 40 and I got 36 I think? Maybe 37? Close but not quite. But now I have more free time and it’s definitely shown already in my reading so far.

I met my goal last year of 75... but honestly it felt like I was down to the wire at the end. So this year I made my goal 50 and if that feels like a lot I'll move it back down. My goal this year is to REALLY enjoy what I'm reading. I read a lot of books last year that were mid.

Right now I'm in the middle of a Fourth Wing + Iron Flame reread in preparation for Onyx Storm and I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOVED THESE BOOKS. I'm devouring them.

hoping to finish my second read of house of leaves, and re-read all the dresden files books so i can read the latest one!

I read 113 books last year, with most of them being graphic novels and trade paperbacks (which are what I tend to read mostly nowadays). I don't have a specific number in mind to work towards this year. Instead, maybe I'll finish rereading the entirety of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. I forgot that this was an initiative I started last year.

Currently, I am reading The Lies I Told by Mary Burton. So far, I like it. I have no idea exactly where the story is going with my personal theories but I like the suspense of not knowing!
