I need computer help please 😩

Hello!! I posted awhile ago about my (you need an account to see links). Things were fine for awhile but it’s at an all time low and it appears that the hard drive is failing.

Can someone please tell me exactly what I need to buy to replace it myself? Bonus points for Amazon.ca links 😅
Funds are incredibly low right now so I can’t afford a lot and definitely can’t afford to pay someone to do it for me 🙁

Thank you!!! I can try my best to answer any questions. My technology knowledge is not great though.

First thing I would do is YouTube around for videos that demonstrate opening your laptop and fixing/repairing parts. Find out the tools you'll need to use. It can be a little overwhelming at first, so I do recommend watching the videos thoroughly first before attempting anything!

Sounds like you might need to back-up your drive full of data, and then upgrade that, and upgrading your RAM that's inside as well. But if this isn't feasible for you, there's always the option of reformatting your computer (wipe it clean and add everything you need again over a fresh install of Windows). That might do the trick until you can get your hands on an upgraded laptop in the future. Keep us updated with your computer journey. Good luck!
