Hopefully it will be handled better than Lorcana. Neopets is much less popular than Disney though, so that should be a positive (maybe a negative for game shop play though).

Virtual prize cards are just a chance too..... I think the original Neo TCG had them in every pack (could be wrong).

Paying for BOTH Starter decks to get an avatar is going to be annoying. (Will they event count towards user count)?

I'm not one for playing TCG games, given that Neo has had a TCG before and it failed... meh.

I'm just interested in the rare item code prizes - assuming there are some new ones.
I think I have a few complete decks from the older booster packs when I used to buy them and sell the codes. I'm sure the BD one will be interesting.

Didn't see a release date so I guess that's a stay tuned bit of info.

The video said they will have info at comic con, so maybe a release date around then. The video also has a copyright date of 2023... so maybe they meant last year

Pokemon, Yugioh, Lorcana, One Piece, Magic. TCGs have skyrocketed back into popularity the last couple of years. I think more so for the "hustle" mentality of scalping at release than actual gameplay

I don't mind buying the cards just to add them to my Neo merch collection, but yeah, I'd love if they'd elaborate if the avatars actually count or not. Hopefully it's like the cookbook though where the prize/avatar code is the same for everyone.
