The Sadness

I had to call off of work today because my kitty is sick. She has ovarian cancer and we can't afford the chemo, and she is messin all over the house so now we have to keep her in a room so she is by her litter. I have to clean everything in the house because it all smells like kitty p. I need the puppies to be outside, but the weather isn't cooperating with me, so I had to call off of work in order to deal with it in a way my puppies won't get affected.

I'm sorry about your kitty. Is just removing the cancerous areas an option? If you can afford the debt, there is care credit. Did the vets give you any tips on how to comfort kitty?

She is an old kitty so even if she had the surgery, her quality of life would be very bad. So we are loving on her and comforting her as much as we can. She is a spoiled kitty for sure!

Awww I'm so sorry to hear about your sick kitty what kind of cat is she? My childhood cat lived to almost 20 and she was a rescue tortie, ended up in a similar situation where we just made her twilight years comfy rather than put her through surgery. I'm sure your kitty knows she is loved and safe <3

Aw, that's too bad but you are still giving her love and care. <3 I can tell you love kitty a lot. Mine kitty is 18 herself so I understand the too old for surgery part. and yes spoil spoil our old kitties. It makes me feel good that you are taking such good care of your kitty in time of need. So many people just dump their babies when they get old it's so sad.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your kitty. I can sympathize with your situation as I had to go through almost the same thing with my late husky, when she was diagnosed with cancer. End of life care is not easy, and I don't wish the distress on anyone.

I do! I seriously love kitties so much. If I could rescue them all and not smell like a litter box, I would!!!!

I sympathize with you. I just recently lost one of my kitties a week and a half ago. He never made it to 1 years old

Ontop of that I'm about to lose my childhood cat here super soon as well. He's not doing too well either..
