Hiding threads in Latest Posts

Hi all, wondering if there is a way to exclude certain threads or forum sections from popping up in the Latest Posts section. Some threads, when they're up on the latest posts, are legit making me click out of the forum itself at times.
I know I can exclude from the What's New section already, but I tend to not use that section as much as the home page. Maybe this is already a setting and I'm just not knowledgeable enough.

If this isn't possible, is there a way to make it possible? Or a script to block certain threads on my own?

You want us to code a solution to hide threads because you'll leave the forum outright if we don't? What exactly is bothering you so much about conversations that you can't just avert your gaze?

Not particularly asking for free labor from anyone, just hoping there was already a solution.

I'm on here for fun, hoping to enjoy my time. Honest answer is that I don't enjoy seeing the debate section, especially the debate on trans issues.

Alright, I've coded the stats panel to use your excluded forums to filter out threads you don't want to see. The changes should be visible on the main page now.
