I used to be a candle girlie until I moved out of my parents' house and didn't want to risk grey marks on the walls in the places I rented. My favourite scent was Bath and Body Works' tea and lemon.
So candles I enjoy Salted Caramel, and Vanilla
Basic scents but just so soothing. Or an apple pie Flavour I found a while ago was incredible!

Haha no I am not going to argue with a rando as if I have the time or energy to on this website.
ALSO I didn’t even say ALL candles are bad. If you read instead of getting pressed.
you should argue with my cat about why she wont eat wet food? She’s just as unhinged as u sound.
Just throwing back the energy you started ..
Look how cheap I find my soy candles …

we can't enjoy candles in our place because our cat has asthma and the vet highly recommended against it to not trigger an attack :\
before our cat though my fav scent was almost anything mango
I mean, I think it's fair to feel like it was a bit of a downer to have the first comment on a "hey guys what candles have you been burning?" thread be "you shouldn't be using scented candles." It made me feel hurt and like I shouldn't have bothered to make the thread because apparently I've done something bad. I thought the thread was going to die because of it. So maybe let's just share what we're burning instead of shaming others for using one type of candle over another?
Bake Shoppe hasn't been super strong, so when my cat decided to poop on my floor on Friday for some reason, I lit a caramel pumpkin candle because the smell was ROUGH.
My nose and lungs have always been pretty sensitive, and have since gotten even more so, but I used to love vanilla and cake smelling soy candles! I also had a indie brand (now out of business) fall-baking candle, in addition to a pumpkin one, that were really nice. S/O to the Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar scent as well.
That caramel pumpkin candle sounds amazing @(you need an account to see links)!

Fall baking?! Sounds incredible, I'm jealous. I know I have some sort of... blueberry cotton candy one? I think I've lit it once or twice but that was last year and I don't remember if it was any good or not. Maybe I'll go for that one once I finish the bake shoppe and/or caramel pumpkin ones.

I loooove lighting a candle while I take a bath
It's so relaxing with the lights off and having a slight glow in the room
I'm currently using my cherry merlot candle from bath and body works
🥰
I need to buy more though because it's almost all used up

cherry merlot is one of my favorite bath and body works scents!!! it's SO GOOD
that being said, i love fruity smelling candles! tropical ones are my fave like pineapple. also can't go wrong with strawberries ^^
vanilla/dessert candles can be okay as well, but sometimes if they smell too sweet i can get a headache ;-;
