The only, ONLY possible way people having access to SAPs would "unbalance" the BD portion of the plot is if they went back legitimately 20 years and had limited amounts of enemies to kill. And even then power players and bots would get most of them ANYWAY so who gives a crap.

The average player doesn't even have a pet that can take full advantage of a SAP. It won't unbalance shit.

I’m wondering if NCUCs will tie into this directly in some way. If old villains and artifacts of the past are resurfacing, perhaps it also brings back pet appearances and allows whomever to make the ray that is also utilizing void energy.

Hmm, it’s possible, we got a one time robitification from one event… perhaps we could be a UCification item. I think it will involve NC though… I reckon neopets will want to sell UCs to us lol

Simply what I said. The average player is unlikely to have a pet at 750 strength to get the full use out of the item.

750 is the current "max" for boosts, so it's the hardest you can ever hit and can't improve ever again unless you upgrade to better weapons.

As much as I dislike Herdy, what he did with the SAP is the correct call.

If SAP becomes buyable, every weapon that can do less than 28 icons will be practically useless. There is no reason to buy any weapon below SAP which is basically every weapon except for SuAP. Obviously there are different icons that can be considered but thats only for 2p battles (which is largely dead). For 1p, icons dont matter.

Thanks for compiling this thread with awesome info so far! I haven't kept up with the calendar, so I'm not sure what to make of these panels yet, but it's really exciting. I appreciate the teasing and the story buildup. Let's see how it unfolds!

You are the voice of reason… but still, I maintain it should be in plausible reach of normal players after a lot of hard work and saving. 150 million NP is too much for anyone who isn’t using clraik bots or are skilled merchants, I suppose? I’m sure there’s a few legitimate ways to make 150 million NP… but not many…

What Herdy did with the SAP is absolutely NOT the right call, are we serious right now? Put to the side that the item in question is valuable or whatever, he spoke on behalf of EVERYONE ON SITE that we all shared his same opinion regarding a game mechanic and that we would like to see it changed.

Y'all, I get it, you're probably upset that you lost some investment into this item. But for goodness sake, it's the month of giving not the month of potential profits. How someone else performs in a BD portion of an event doesn't impact any of us in the slightest. Just let people have fun lol.
