What is your favourite gift these holidays?

It's already Christmas here in Australia and I've already had my delicious lunch and unwrapped my presents. I was pretty spoilt this year, and when inquired as to what my favourite gift was, it was... not a hard choice at all, actually.

Did I get more expensive gifts? Yes. I got my dream microphone, actually. But this little glaceon is everything to me. You see, I've always been a fan of Pokemon, grew up on it. My mum knows, but she doesn't really know much about the series at all, and with the vast amount of Pokemon merch, it's easy to get confused. Yet she remembered that I love this Pokemon and all the other eeveelutions because she's seen me talk about them a couple times. Not excessively, just a few times. But she remembered that, and she saw this little figure in the shop and remembered I liked it, and bought it for me.

That's love, I think. SImple and pure.

It's not Christmas Day for me yet, but so far my favorite present I've gotten was from my partner. He got a generic book of love poems from Barnes & Noble, but then he wrote little notes to me in it. Made me really happy.

I got lethal company today as an early gift (24th here still)
that game is pretty great actually. I sunk pretty much all day into it with my partner today
I get bigger gifts like a phone when it arrives but sometimes the small things just get ya

My husband and I recently got into collecting things we've always loved.

I love the original pokemon and he loves rugrats.

Seems there is no shortage of pokemon stuff though I am super picky... and mostly just collect the vintage stuff.

But whenever we go out we can't really find him stuff. Super niche items it seems... so I spent all last month and this month secretly buying rugrat Collectables on ebay for Christmas. He has no idea what his gifts are. And we've never really celebrated with gifts like this before...

But these are by far my favorite gifts I've ever given.
I can't wait to see his face light up when he opens them all tomorrow!

You will have to come back and say how it went and how he likes them! This is honestly so, so sweet. I absolutely adore it. There's nothing better than the feeling of finding and giving perfect gifts.

I actually got a few things this year that are hard to pick from...
But honestly, I think my new jacket takes it.
I, my co-workers, and friends all refer to me as "rat" and I specially refer to myself as the "rat king."
I got a jacket that has an actual Rat King (Google for reference, but it is a little macabre) that says "I Am the Rat King" on it.
The imagery and phrasing is very on-brand for my style, and I love that it was perfectly picked for me.

My favorite this year is a selection of fruity instant tea blends!

There is watermelon and strawberry, lychee and mango, things like that.

I really enjoy drinking something sweet once in a while but am not a juice fan, so these are perfect Always enjoy trying out something new!

I got four beautiful teddy bears from my best friend.
I actually hinted a lot before my birthday that that is what I wanted a soft toy then I got Harry potter stationery which was great but I was like " you missed all the hintes?

So then apparently from there she worked on finding the perfect teddy bears
