Does anyone play Disney Dreamlight Valley, and is it worth getting into?
I was super hyped when I learned it was releasing for Apple Arcade cos I wanted to try it (was planning to get started when the F2P version went live but Gameloft cancelled that ). And then it turns out that Gameloft doesn't want to support "older" devices, because my iPad (literally just 1 generation behind) isn't compatible with the Apple Arcade version.
Now I'm sorely tempted to buy the blasted thing, but I'm not sure if I'll end up with buyer's remorse afterwards. Hence me seeking out opinions on the game.

I've been curious about buying it myself, I was on a big animal crossing kick for over a year and it seems the animal crossing community online likes it. I was just kinda hoping for it to go on sale before I committed to buying it myself ;-;
is it spooky season yet?
There is another thread here if you didn’t already read some responses there: (you need an account to see links)
As I said in that thread, I got bored of it pretty quickly. I was playing it on PC. The fact that they went away from the F2P model didn’t sit right with a lot players. Personally, if you’re already torn on buying it, don’t bother. You likely WILL have buyer’s remorse lol

The way your describe it reminds me of Hello Kitty Island Adventure I wanted to play it so badly that I got Apple Arcade... And now I've cooled on it somewhat At least I made some good friends from there, and I play other Apple Arcade games now, but still... Perhaps I should take that as a lesson and not do the same thing here
I loved it uuuuuuntil the grind was more tedious and repetitive than Animal Crossing. Oh and pumpkin, pUmPkInS, PUMPKINS!!!! Seriously, they're your life now.
Edit: They also did add multiplayer, so I'm curious to see how that is. May pick it up again just to check that out.

Speaking of Dreamlight Valley, this code is good until tomorrow:
I enjoyed it when it first was released and I've gone back to playing it once or twice since then. It can get very boring and tedious but if you like disney and want a relaxing, stress free game, it might be something you like. I play a very broad variety of games and definitely enjoy a good cozy game when I feel like my brain needs to just shut off lol.
