yeah, it really is beautiful! we used to go every year and see the tree and go to macys to see santa, even if its "touristy" its still super fun. if you wind up going one day its definitely worth it to go look at the store window displays, they really go all out, and go to radio city music hall which also has a lot of decorations, and across the street they have the iconic giant red christmas ornaments. that was always my favorite

Seconding the window displays! Bergdorf's usually has some great ones! I've never really checked it out beyond just passing through, but the market that gets set up in Bryant Park seems cute, too!

I lived 10 miles from NYC and never went to the xmas displays along fifth avenue. It took me moving to Arizona, and returning to the NYC for a vacation to finally see the windows. Better late than never. They were fabulous

Sadly the main FAO Schwartz (im pretty sure thats what you are referencing) has closed, but they may do something like a pop up location for the holidays. The Brand still exists, similar to how Toys R Us is still a brand

FAO Schwartz was absolutely magical as a kid. Even going back as an older teen was really fun. Such a shame that it closed!

I know they tried really hard to save it because it's such a cultural icon, and I think some of the more iconic displays were preserved, but I'm not sure where, or even if that was succesfull.

Me and my family are debating travelling to Oklahoma to go to the Casinos! Unfortunately that's as far as we can go - we really don't travel much outside our current state

There are several outlets around the island; National Kitchen by Violet Oon at National Gallery Singapore would be a good bet as the National Gallery is a museum in the civic district and surrounded by various landmarks. Chilli crab is a must-try; JUMBO Seafood and Palm Beach Seafood are two popular restaurants that serve the dish.
You're a legend! This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much for taking the time!!
