Looking for chill game recommendations;

Depends on what one would consider chill. There are the obvious sim games (Stardew and whatnot), but personally, I chill most with Diablo 3. Throw on some music and do mindless rifts Wish Diablo 4 was as mindless

dude the amount of hours I have dumped into Diablo 3 just for the relaxation of mindless rift grinding. I used to tell my husband all the time that this is how I meditate haha

I haven't started D4 yet. No rifts? That's disappointing. I assumed once I did get 4 I'd never go back to 3.

My chill game suggestion is Cult of the Lamb. The combat is simple and imo very easy, and the game lets you move at whatever pace you like.

D4 is having issues figuring out what it wants to be. They have nightmare dungeons, that are super boring and require a lot of backtracking to fill objectives. Also, not very rewarding. Right now for this season, they have vaults, that are ok, but still not great. Most of the QoL changes that D3 has gotten were forgotten for D4 imo. If they would give us the altar for QoL buffs in non-season on D3 (I am sick of the resets personally), I would probably not touch D4 again for awhile.

Journey is short, but super relaxing. also tropico / tropico 4 can be really chill at easy level

also, idk about you, but when games have built in cheats or the easy mode is actually super easy, that make a game that isnt normally relaxing chill. i found this app that super helps with that. its called WeMod and it is free (though theres a paid version for improved stuff) and most games will have a bunch of mods on there that are easy to toggle on/off and, most importantly, they autoupdate with your game so you dont have to worry about keeping them up to date. that is the most annoying part of mods for me. common stuff they have will be like unlimited health, no weight limit, unlimited money, etc. check it out if that appeals to you, its been a game changer for me. literally lol.
