This woman had me losing my MIND in high school. I was obsessed when I first hear this and did everything in my power to find out who she was, which led me to finding the rest of the album and diving down a rabbit hole that I still haven't emerged from.
I also remember when this song came out and the GRIP it had not just on me but on everyone who heard it as well. Oh lord.

Good Charlotte - The You and the Hopeless. Not for any deep reason, I rarely ever actually pay attention to the words in songs, but I like higher tempo music and The Anthem was especially nice to run to.
