I realize that I'm very late with offering this up, but we have the Hello World userbar that can be awarded for participating in this event.

Oh, dang, that'd be awesome! I'd feel a bit bad as this is definitely not a beginner-friendly thing, but it could definitely encourage future all-levels things. ProcJam is coming up real soon, too...👀

If there ever is something for 100% newbie programmers, I'd be down! I hope everyone has fun!

I really wanted to host an event like that, I used to teach one hundred percent newbie programmers, so I spent a lot of time chatting with coworkers about how to make something that would be accessible to people like our students, and still fun for people existing hobbyists and professionals, too. But then shit sort of slipped between the cracks. But after seeing your poetry event I feel like you don't have to do it all at once. As much as I can't wrap my head around meter, there was enough for me to manage to do, and it was pretty straightforward compared to like...the commitment that the NaNoWriMo group did. So like, different events is okay! I'm like about to fall asleep so I hope my thoughts work right now.

I’m so down to participate in this! I’m paying for an annual Leetcode subscription but I’ve barely used it this year. I’ve gotten good at SQL questions but I just can’t make myself practice data structures.
