Movies you can rewatch without getting bored?

What are movies you love and can rewatch without getting bored of them?

    Here are mine:

Mulan – I'd never fail to stop what I was doing and watch this whenever it came on the Disney Channel.
Thor: Ragnarok – It's usually the first movie I turn to whenever I'm feeling down.
1917 – fgkfkdkfldf this cast. That is all.
    Annihilation
    Inglourious Basterds

Conversely, what are movies that you love but once is enough? I rewatched Under the Skin sometime ago, and it didn't wow me as much as it did the first time. Hell will have to freeze over first before I even think about watching A Ghost Story (with Casey Affleck and Rooney Mara) again.

    Hot Fuzz
    Phantom of the Opera
    Emperor's New Groove
    Tomb Raider (any of them)

OMG, Emperor's New Groove — how could I forget? I just watched a video essay about it a couple of days, too.

I'm going to add Lilo & Stitch to my list as well, though it makes for an uncomfortable rewatch because THE TEARS OMG THE TEARS.

oooh, can you drop a link to the video?

Also, to answer the original question, I feel like there are soooo many good rewatchable movies. Some need some space in between viewings to air out in between (I put a lot of Nolan's stuff here, also people like Fincher, Aronofsky, et cetera), but others are just fun good watches. I feel like the demise of channel-surfing has sort of...killed a lot of these. There's no more "Oh, I'll stop and pick this up for the next 45 minutes while I xyz". I feel like a lot of 80s movies are like that, but I'm not sure exactly where the cause/effect lies in terms of when they were made and the qualities that make them rewatchable in chunks.

I realize I'm not listing any actual names, but I'm completely blanking on anything other than a once-is-enough, and that's Requiem For A Dream. I did rewatch it one time, thinking it was such an incredible film and that I'd be prepared, so it wouldn't feel as intense...yeah nope.

Absolutely! It was (you need an account to see links).

I get where you're coming from regarding channel surfing. Admittedly, picking Mulan to watch on Disney+ doesn't hit the same as stumbling upon it, already halfway through its runtime, on Disney Channel.

LOL, I still haven't watched Requiem for a Dream — I'm too chicken.

I have a few movies saved to my phone that I can just watch on loop forever! Knives Out, Interstellar, Treasure Planet, Coraline, and more. I've seen them so many times that I can basically quote them all the way through
