Has anyone picked this up for themselves? Mario definitely has a lot of nostalgia to it and I've been thinking of going down memory lane. Is it worth trying to pry the switch from my son once in a while? Does anyone have a recommendation for anyone to watch on YouTube for gameplay?

I played it on snes years ago, amazing game. Not sure about the new one though. Is it just a port or is it a whole new one? I think it is worth a play eitherway

I'm actually not sure if it's a part of it or the whole game or if it's even very different from the other one. Lately I've been wanting to play the N64 Mario with the paintings. That underwater soundtrack is a mood : )

You should, game still holds up after all these years. It's a great playthrough

I've only just gotten around to playing it, and it's about as fun as I remember it! The music notes puzzle still sucks though.

I'm a few hours into playing this, and I'm coming to the realization that this is still just a Super Nintendo game's pacing with updated visuals and sound. They did the same thing with Link's Awakening. I hate to be that guy but $60 is a big ask for this.

Yeah, that sounds like Nintendo. They often don't do actual remakes and instead remodels their game with 20XX graphics while not updating/changing outdated game mechanics.

I still think I may pick this up since I don't see this game going on sale.

I thought the same thing about the game never being offered at a discount, Bui, but I did hope for at least a little more content than the original. This amount of content perfectly fine back when we only had a few megabytes of space to build games with, but if they can fit a game like Breath of the Wild on a Switch cartridge, then this feels like a poor effort.
