PSA: Users are being logged into wrong accounts

Lots of people on Discord are reporting they're randomly being logged into someone else's account. TNT is aware of the issue.

As a precaution, make sure you have PINs set, put all your NP in the bank, etc.

Dice's message on Discord:

Neopets is being real wonky right now, it might display that you're logged in as someone else.

Personally unsure if you are able to make any changes while on another's account, but either way this is a good time to PIN up your account and stuff, to stop someone else making changes on your account, since this transcends 2FA. :discountrip:

Logging out explicitly might make this not happen, but unsure. 🤔

It appears to be happening when you go to the Neoboards, at least in my experience. This is wild.

EDIT: As of 1:30 pm NST, users are able to access the site again. I'm seeing some people still having issues getting in. I've not seen anything new posted on Discord yet.

Yeah definitely some weird stuff going on -- whenever I'd click on my Quest Log, it'd bring me to a password reset page for another user that it would also present the page as if I were logged in as them.

Came here to make sure there was a post about it. I have premium and 2FA and can’t replicate it on my end. They need to put the site into maintenance mode immediately if they already know about it. Like WHAT in the actual HELL?

The more interesting part is that some people are being logged into the exact same account somehow (a guy with a mynci and 30m+ np on hand).

I was on the neoboards when I was suddenly transported to a random account with pretty UCs lol

it scared me so bad, apparently someone had the glitch on the email settings page and it showed them their email
