Anyone else love OSRS and participating in Leagues this year?

I didn't play Twisted, but I did play in OG Trailblazer & Shattered Relics.
Very excited for the launch on November 15th, 2023!

From the OSRS Wiki:
"Trailblazer Reloaded is a temporary gamemode with a unique ruleset that fundamentally changes the gameplay experience. Players begin with most regions of the game locked, but they are able to unlock new ones by completing tasks and accumulating points. At certain point thresholds, players are able to select powerful relics that affect skilling, combat, or provide extra utility. The league is based on the original Trailblazer League with many changes to the task list, relics, and the inclusion of new content from updates since 2020"

I thought I'd start a thread to discuss strats, what areas you're unlocking, skills you will be levelling, or just excitement!

I quit after the first trailblazers cuz I got burnt out and the one after that wasnt as good.

Do you have to play with a brand new character for that? Or can you use your existing?

I love OSRS but I tend to get horribly addicted if I get too into it.

you start at level 3 in lumbridge, and some areas are locked which you can unlock by completing a fixed number of tasks. You start with a 5x multiplier on xp gains, and I think you can unlock even higher by completing more tasks.
You do play on your own existing account, but have to play in the designated trailblazer world where your player is a new ironman. Its addicting and very fun tho

I love Leagues, it's just such a fun little event that makes the game even more interesting.

Unfortunately you do need a membership to participate, but bonds are buyable on the GE!
It's a bit more difficult to make money on a free account, but theres a few guides out there that can usually net around ~150-200k an hour if you're playing a bit more casually.

At the moment, bonds are going for ~9mil so it's a bit of a commitment to actively make that amount to buy your first bond.
However, once you have a bond - it's 100x easier to remake the money needed to keep up with a bond ^^

(Also I completely agree that it;s increible addicting haha, I've been on/off throughout the years and I'm currently back in an "on" mode lol)

Ou, yesterday OSRS twitter put out a bit more info on all the unlockable regions, as well as the two starting regions!
Here's what we have available in Misthalin and Karamja, so plan accordingly

Now that's been about a week, is anyone playing?

I unlocked Desert/Kourend, thinking of unlocking Wildy as my last area because I want to try some pvp/pvm

For relics, I have Trickster/Fairy's Flight (I should have gone Globetrotter)/Banker's Note/Archer's Embrace/Infernal Gathering (Wish I went treasure seeker)
For t6 I'm thinking between Farmer's Fortune and Ruinous Powers
