Happy Halloween, cK!! How are you spending it, any plans for the day?

I'm signing off work early so I can post up on my patio in a bat costume and put a dumb hat on my dog and hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. I live in a cul-de-sac off the main road but my neighbor and I put a bunch of Halloween lights and stuff out to try and signal YES WE HAVE CANDY COME TO US and wowww that's a line that is so creepy to type lmao but I've never lived in a place that had trick-or-treaters before (either was too rural, too apartment complex, or too sketchy) and I'm so excited. I hope there's older folks out trick-or-treating too. My immediate neighbors are all retired and idgaf how old someone is, if you show up to my house tonight you are getting candy.

How about you? If Halloween isn't your thing, what holiday are you looking forward to celebrating?

Sounds like you are going to have a great Halloween.

I personally won't be celebrating it. Really haven't at all. Maybe a few times whilst I was a kid. I do enjoy Christmas though.

I have work all day sadly, but I am watching the first episode of Season 5 of Dragula while I work, so that's nice, I've been waiting for it all month. Maybe we will watch a scary movie after work, our block doesn't get trick or treaters since its all apartment buildings, I would love to hand out candy though one day haha

We have some stuff to give out, but my neighborhood sucks for halloween. Really long driveways and the houses are spaced super far apart. My parents say they usually don't get any trick-or-treaters, but sometimes one or two groups will show up.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Taking it easy today. I had a fun Halloween party my friends threw over the weekend and made it out to a live football game last night where a lot of attendees were dressed up (game merch + costumes). Loving the spooky season!

I will be turning off all the lights and pretending i'm not home, while i leave a bowl of candy out. Most likely it will be gone within the first ten trick or treaters!

We went out of town for my wife's friends big Halloween party last weekend. Had a local Halloween party with my friends this past Saturday.

Tonight we are dressing up in our family costume and going trick or treating in a friends neighborhood, since it's a development and usually more active there. We have had maybe ... TWO trick-or-treaters are our house in the past two years, despite getting a bunch of candy each year. I told my wife that this will be the year we get a ton of them and we aren't gonna be home.

Planning to head to my grandparents house to tell them we are pregnant again, since our family costume is basically set up to tell people. Probably end the night flopped back on the couch watching a scary movie or two.
