Shocker, Neopets reddit deleted the post but the comments are still up.

Why does he spent hours of his life to acquire access to backdoors and open another so he can't lose his access to the database?

He is another hacker who has access to all of our neopets data, and i'm flabbergasted how the peoples here who says to love the site aren't scared of this.

He leaves his access open without reporting TNT, how many other peoples got access thanks to this?

This guy has access to every transaction and logs on Neopets and it baffles me that a seeming majority on the Neopets subreddit is okay with this.

The onus is really on TNT at this point, they need to hire an outside cybersecurity consultant if they can't track how he's getting access themselves

He keeps posting about how he's tried to get his access patched, yet in other comments we see him talking about finding other ways in which he's gained access to the Neopets system. Come on already...

Get your access patched and stop posting stuff that fuels drama for fake internet points.

Reddit mods are dumb for keeping this dude around, and we've yet to see a valid excuse in doing so. Sure, other people could be doing the same (their reason for allowing him to stay), but that excuse alone counters itself. People are doing what he does in private, so just get rid of him already! If you see a wild fire, are you not going to try and put it out? Keeping this creep around is doing more damage than anything.

The guy has full DB access and everyone is OK with it, even one of Neo's new ambassadors.

If anything, it all makes "Neo_Truths" less trustworthy because he is clearly just trying to eliminate the competition so he can keep the access and spotlight to himself...

Read the comments there and it seems like the people on that subreddit are living in a state of delusion. Their thoughts on justifying it being okay to allow him to roam free behind the code is wild. Yes you know about the inner workings of things and that there are glitches and issues.... things you don't need somebody to actually tell you. Sure it's cool to know and it can be interesting at times, but he can also take over your account if he wanted to and do likely whatever else he wanted on the site. He's not the bane of cheaters existence just an example of what a power trip can do to your head. I'd be interested in seeing the justification from the subreddit mods as to why they haven't banned him from the sub yet.

Personal attacks, slurs, threats, harassment, sexism, racism, homophobia, discrimination, or general outward hostility towards another person are not allowed. Don't incite or encourage witchhunting; if you're concerned about a user, report them to the sub-mods (for breaking (you need an account to see links) rules) or on Neo (for breaking site rules).

Those things are not okay, but literally hacking the site and disclosing tons of information about it is okay? Got it. It's nice that there is a solid double standard there. Why not just open the sub up to all means of illegit discussions? Make a market where people can buy/sell their neo goods and lean into it all the way.

Yeah all the white knight comments are pretty funny to read. Pretty sketchy for an "ambassador" to be on board and totally okay with the actions of n_t. Guess that goes to show the caliber of the ambassadors that they picked.

You know what I find funny in all this? CK users are demonized for being cheaty, we get witch hunted across multiple sites on the regular, but N_T gets full database access and we're supposed to suckle his toes as our holy neopets saviour?
I actively hate the current state of neopets.
Use a few scripts? You're literally the satan of neopets.
Gain access to DB and become everyone's overlord? *everyone bows down to worship him*

It's telling that so many of the responses boil down to "get wrekd cheaters", as if sacrificing the personal information and private discussions of every player on the site is a sane trade off for inconveniencing a handful of the least experienced cheaters. Every cheater with half a brain in their heads knows how to walk around this guy, and a few folks are messing with everyone just to see what they can get away with, and the response to that is to let some rando run play fast and loose with the whole site? Get wrekd indeed.
