I love horror movies so much but its hard for me to think of any that I consider my favorites... if The Silence of the Lambs counts as a horror movie then I would say that- I consider it more of a thriller though, haha

the silence of the lambs is a really good one. fun fact, that came out on valentines day the year i was born. what a romantic movie to watch with your lover

gotta love the zombie movies. 28 days later is one of my favorites. i really love i am legend even though i dont consider it true horror, but more like sci-fi..

Hush (2016) and Mandy (2018) are two recent ones I liked that might be good for a horror movie night (though Mandy is a bit uh. Intense.)! Also, What We Do in the Shadows (2014) for something more on the silly side. I haven't watched that may older horror movies, but I feel like you can't go wrong with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974), plus The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Bram Stoker's Dracula for something more lighthearted (the later isn't really light hearted but Keany Reeve's performance is not great in a funny way. Gary Oldman is great though)!

It hasn't been a month since Halloween, so I think I'm still good replying to this post.

Besides 28 Days Later and Silence of the Lambs, which have been mentioned, I loved 1922. I adore horror movies that cover a slow descent into madness. I'll update this post with more titles once I give it a good think.

Shutter is definitely one of my favorite horror movies
But I have to admit I was in love with the new Evil Dead Rise movie this year. They did so well on it! I was so happy watching it and seeing all the references to the classic evil dead movies.
