UPDATE: Faerie Festival changed to October 2nd

Greetings, fellow Neopians,

We know you've all been eagerly looking forward to this year’s Faerie Festival, but here's the scoop—we've had to shuffle our plans a bit.

Although Queen Fyora was excited to unveil a new and improved Faerie Festival event this year on September 20th, forecasts of a particularly severe storm blowing in from Mystery Island have caused the Faerie Queen to delay the event. Since the storm is setting records for unusually high winds, the Festival has been rescheduled to October 2nd for the safety of attending Neopians.

While the delay is disappointing for all involved, a little extra time before the festival means that Queen Fyora and her team have even more time to work their magic. Rest assured, when October 2nd arrives Neopians will be treated to a celebration like no other.

Beginning on September 20th, two Faeries hand-picked by Queen Fyora will need your help cleaning up Neopia! You’ll be able to go on Faerie quests, donate excess items to help recycling efforts (in a way that just might remind you of another fan-favourite event), and experience a new story of old foes as it unfolds throughout the Festival!

Daily Quests

Adventure awaits with the thrilling arrival of Daily Quests, making their debut in mid-September. This feature will serve as the ultimate guide for new users, helping them dive headfirst into the enchanting world of Neopia. For our seasoned adventurers, Daily Quests will soon become your go-to destination for even more daily rewards, offering a refreshing twist to your daily routine. Stay tuned as the countdown begins for a whole new way to embark on quests and earn incredible prizes!

This has been sent by email and it's also posted on the news of the page that everyone hates visiting each time one wants to log in xD

Do you think this is gonna be the year the festival is coming back? Some type of charity corner event returning?

If so I'm looking forward to the prize pool and the quests! I know many wants to get those FFQs so hopefully this will help to entice people to play a bit more again, more activity and hopefully nice old funny days feelings awakening up

It's great seeing an event coming our way again (finally)! I'm really interested to know if/what the prizes will be for the donation type event. 👀

It sounds like the daily quests should begin this week. Midway through Sept. is the 15th, which is Friday. If they were to put it one week before the Daily Quest feature it'd fall two days from now on Wednesday.

The cleanup portion is sorta reminding me of the Save the Wheels event for some reason, just with a CC type twist. Daily Quests sounds a bit more like a "welcome to the website, here's fun stuff to do" but I will 100% play along anyway. Gotta find out what those prizes are.

I'm cheerfully optimistic about it, and also look forward to the traffic and purpose the event will bring to the site!

This definitely sounds like the Charity Corner event they've been recently hinting at, but yeah the faeries are a whole new twist. I dunno, it seems pretty interesting. I'm excited at the prospect of some more FFQ's though, better double check to make sure I don't have any already. Hopefully this brings in some much-needed traffic too.

Ugh FINALLY! I've been waiting for a proper faerie festival since this years was skipped. If this event ties into Charity Corner then great! I have a bunch of shit in my SDB I've been hoarding for a few years to finally donate and get some points. I'm gonna try my hardest to try and donate 100 items the first day since previous years you got an avatar for donating so much (and or on the first day)

I'm wondering if there will be a NC aspect to this as well? Like how Charity corner had NC Donation boxes to get tickets to redeem for NC items

This sounds super cool! Neo has gotten extra stagnant lately after a short burst of activity so I'd really like to see more going on.

I agree, the Altador Cup and summer holidays ending has caused a bit of a lull again. This sounds like a cool event and hopefully brings back some more activity!
