Nope, the latter! It was four of us and we set up tents and tore them down every night! Here a few pictures of our disaster of packing and one of our campsites Every morning was Tetris as the trunk was at maximum capacity lol.

Congrats on your baby!! How exciting! House hunting can be a lot of fun and also "nesting" to get.it all ready for the baby to come. I know when we were moving I was addicted to Pinterest for room set up and decorating ideas. Happy House Hunting!
Thank you so much! And yes, I'm addicted to Pinterest and am constantly looking at nursery photos

Your family's summer sounds so beautiful! It's so awesome you were able to create so many memories and see so many beautiful things!

We went to a lot of street fairs this summer which was a lot of fun! I got to try a lot of new food and play at a lot of parks with my family which was a blast! It was hotter than normal where I live this year which I didn't think I'd like but I'm honestly a little sad to say goodbye to the warm weather and sunlight this year. I'm eagerly awaiting fall though!

thank you honeycomb for the pancake doodle and hearts for the sleepy pumpkin!

I'm just plopping in to say this was the worst, yet most productive summer of my life πŸ˜… I've done more in my summer than the last 3-4 years of my life. It's been absolutely EXHAUSTING and I'm chronically fighting to stay at work. I've had a rollercoaster of highs and lows and I'm so happy to look forward to the fall when things SHOULD slow down. I've had a wide range of events go on from conferences out of town, volunteering for way too much, making a new friend (who's brought their own exhaustion into my life lmao), reconnecting with an old friend (who is much more extroverted than I remember 0_o), moving to a new place with my brother, having to go to a funeral, house sit for someone for a while, etc. I think I took too much on too fast this summer and I didn't realize I wasn't prepared to handle it. I'm looking forward to slow the fuck down in the fall/winter where I really thrive lol. Trying to use this as a learning opportunity to prepare for next year where a lot of similar events will go down around the same time.

I know this is slightly-off, but I worked most of summer, though I did book a holiday to America to see my partner, which I am going to in -counts- 14 days!
