[Mobile] Neopets Faerie's Hope

With the new ownership for neopets and a seemingly directed focus on making the site more mobile friendly and expanding the mobile games, I thought I would bring back my Faerie's Hope thread so we can discuss anything Faerie's Hope related.

Rant about the level you're stuck on, share your customizations for the characters, complain about a lack of updates, or share your love (or hate ) of the Neopets Faerie's Hope mobile game!

Some information about the game:

• Available on Google Play and the App Store
  Match 3 Gameplay
  New and classic neopian figures
  There are currently 701 levels available (I think?)
  Small storylines that let you customize and rebuild (to an extent) a new faerieland

Here's a bit of extra information on the characters that I didn't notice on JN:
Shoyrus: Varia and Shims
- Powerup: Bomb effect

Aishas: Tia and Kello
- Powerup: Windmill effect

Lupe: Jorett
- Powerup: Boomerang

Acara: Nephrite
- Powerup: Bomb effect

Kougra: Ascor
- Powerup: (Anyone have him unlocked yet?)


There are also Daily Challenges on the left-hand side of the screen you can do for rewards, they are as follows:

Airship Expedition:
- Pass levels to get fuel. The more fuel your team gets, the better the rewards
- Rewards: 1st place - 2x Spinning Top, 2nd Place - 2x Bomb, 3rd Place - 2x Missile

Fyora's Cup:
- Win a level to earn a trophy to enter the cup.
- Once entered, you'll be put against other players and you'll compete to see who can win the most levels
Rewards: 1st place - 180min unlimited lives and a bunch of powerups, 2nd place - 120min unlimited lives and powerups

Rainbow Fountain:
- Pass levels to reach the top of the rainbow fountain tree. If you lose 3 in a row you go down to the previous tree branch.
- Every few levels you can win rewards which range from powerups, unlimited lives, and coins

Hungry Meepits:
- Get unlimited lives for 1 hour, and during that hour when you use a spinning top you get juice. Most juice wins!
- Rewards: Most juice wins you several powerups

I assume that you still play regularly? I think many people (including me) dipped the moment we got our Varia Plushie.

Hopefully they introduce more in-game rewards... because I probably won't play it again if they don't.

Also I totally understand, I hope they have more actual neopets tie-ins in the future that will bring back more people to the game.

100% this, I don't understand why they would ever make a game where you don't get any benefit in game from playing - it seems like such an easy thing to pull in unwilling people.

Tbh I haven't actually yet given this a shot - I don't hate match 3 games per se, I am just of the opinion that THIS is not what TNT/their parent company should be focusing on lol. So I'm sure I'd enjoy playing (for at least a little bit of time) but the novelty generally wears off pretty quickly/the game gets repetitive. I do plan to download it at some point! I've just been so busy.

I have a new level of respect for you xD

I haven't played mostly because I know myself and I'm bad at time managing with games. So I just stick to Neopets to avoid getting distracted a lot

But I like reading news! Hopefully they could new stuff later, maybe more about Dacardia?

I had every level played while it was still in testing phase, but with the new rollout as its own app, I haven't gotten around to playing past the initial prizes. I'd rather focus on the main site, but I did passively enjoy going through it once. The "play x games to clean a room" element bugged me, so I'd save going through the quest prompts til I'd played a chunk of levels.

I'm with you @(you need an account to see links) on getting absorbed into things - match 3 are about the only thing I can get away with playing outside of Neopets!
