Obscure Anime/Manga Recommendations?

Not sure if this series is considered obscure, but have you watched Platinum End? It's created by the same author/illustrator who made Death Note, but I don't really see it being discussed much. In short, it's a story about God trying to name his next successor among 12 (or so) candidates.
Also for manga, I would recommend checking out 20th Century Boys by Naoki Urasawa! It's pretty much a classic manga series that serialized in the 90s - 00s but I always recommend it before anything else first because I rarely hear anyone talking about it these days + I love it so much

Platinum End has been on my list but I keep forgetting about it... thanks so much for the reminder! I've never heard of 20th Century Boys but the description sounds like something that'd be right up my alley! I'll have to check it out.
