Retroid Pocket ROM suggestions?

Howdy all, my best friend recently surprised me with a Retroid pocket 3! I've got some basics off IGN "best of" lists loaded already but am struggling to think of lesser known or just lesser talked about fun games of days past 🤔 SO: What are some of y'all's favorite classics from liiiike the PSP back through the NES? Anything goes, just say your favs!

edit: Oh and I guess this goes without saying on a quasilegal forum but just say the title, please don't link anything we shouldn't technically legally have lol

I'd highly recommend Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 9 if you're into RPGs.

Well maybe no actual laws but I think for example the neopets team would have somethin' to say! lol

I could give you a list because retro games are pretty much all I play, minus a couple modern games. (including my PSP still.)

If you really want the list written up of that many games I am down to do it. But I gotta know how much you want. Should I do a top 10? top 20? top 5? (these would be by console so everything you asked for would be covered.)

A weird, obscure fave of mine is the Hook tie-in for the SNES (the one for the NES is terrible). It was one I played a lot as a kid, but I think that it is a genuinely fun and challenging little platformer with nice visuals.
