Help with getting an account unfrozen?

How likely is it to get a neopets account unfrozen if I only remember:

Password, original email, current email, pets on the account, and the pin?

I recently remembered an account I created and is now frozen and I am trying to get it unfrozen. Last I remember in 2020, Alice was pretty nice in helping get accounts unfrozen, not sure if there's anything new?

    Would appreciate all the input!

It's been a while since I tried to get an account back myself, but...

From what I know, currently they are kinda obsessed with only giving an account back if you open a ticket using the OG email. Just knowing it is not enough. And ofc they don't seem to care about dead email services etc...
But if you *can* use the OG email, I'd say your chances are pretty good.

I’ve had pretty great success with tickets for frozen and non frozen accounts. If you know the OG email, that’s a nice start. If you don’t have access to it in order to make the ticket on that account or reply from that account, your chances are slim to none though. That seems to be a sticking point.

Definitely the above. Previously knowing the original email might have helped, but now actually writing in from it is king. I haven't had any luck getting them to reopen an account originally created with a hotmail.co.uk email even though I have the hotmail.com address and co.uk doesn't exist anymore. I was told they might be able to help if I had details of payments made on the account, but none had been.

They do seem to change their ideas on this every few months, so worth trying again later if you can't get through now.

Dang it.. I no longer have access to the original email... thanks guys!

Does it matter if I have access to the current email linked to the account?

And what I self froze an account? Would it be easier to get that back?

Ive been in similar situations. I’ve tried a few different avenues from being nice and saying I appreciate their time. Then onto being a little confused with a lie saying hotmail changed my email to .com instead of .co.uk. Then just straight up rude by asking if they’d recommend I go back in a time machine to acquire my old email from a defunct mail server. Only the first route ever got any further replies lol

That one is kind of hit or miss. You could try it with the current email, it depends how inactive the account has been. Sometimes if it’s very inactive, 5-10 years, they need OG. If it’s only a few years, current could work. You could always go the route of putting it in from current email and a story about how you came back and don’t know why you’re frozen. But it’s no guarantee. At the end of the day, nothing to lose and everything to gain - worth a shot!

Well hey, it’s better than it being frozen in 2005 and trying to get it back. If you need any specific pointers when you work through it, feel free to reach out

I self froze an account and then sometime later I sent in a ticket asking to get it unfrozen because I forgot something important (thinn it was the legends and letter chests when they made the prizes transferable) and I got it unfrozen.

Unsure if you were frozen for breaking the rules or what though
