    That's awesome! Practice, practice, practice, and you'll get where you want to be in terms of skill. I've played guitar for nearly 20 years now, and the only advice I give beginners is practice. If you do atleast an hour every day you'll be fluent in no time.

    Good luck with the violin!! I have little remembrance of the violin because I switched to a different instrument in orchestra. What I do remember, however, is I find practicing lots of sight reading helps to remembering the notes and finger patterns. I'd start with figuring out/assessing where my current music skill is at then train from there. I'd recommend starting with elementary sheet music -> middle school -> high school -> more advanced stuff.
