omg I haven't been to a theater since before the pandemic, so for me it's Parasite, lmao. I really want to get back to going to theaters, but idk it's going to be a while before I'm comfortable going to a tightly-packed place like that.
I have a Regal Movies Unlimited Subscription pass where I can see as many new movies as I want, when I want, with no caps.
I have seen many many movies in theaters because of this! $18.99 a month to watch unlimited movies! And with the new movies coming out in the future, like horror movies, Barbie, No Hard Feelings, plus they have an awesome Mystery Movie Monday where you see a movie that isn't out yet, and the previews haven't come out yet either. The last movie I saw through Mystery Movie Monday was Kandahar! Wow. That movie was intense. And starred Gerard Butler!
So, the latest movie I watched was with my momma. We seen The Boogeyman! It was so good! It scared the bajeebees out of me and my mom. And I am not easily scared even though I welcome being scared by movies. It's based off of a Stephen King short story of the same name but is somewhat different than the short story! I am a huge Stephen King fan! He is the reason I love Horror, as well as R.L. Stine!
So, what is the last movie you saw in theaters? What is your review?
And keep coming back to tell us more about any movie you see in theaters! We need to bring back the theaters and movie dates that aren't Netflix and Chill dates.

I watched the Pope's Exorcist and it was actually pretty good, broke away from the traditional scary movie formula. Good mix of scary and just make-fun-of-itself funny.

Last one I saw was the Super Mario Bros movie... Was certainly not what I expected in terms of a storyline lol
This video sums it up pretty well

Oh wow.. I wanna say the last time I went to the theater was to see the recent Thor; Love and Thunder. I haven't been to the theaters since (Even though I really wanna see the new Guardian of the Galaxy). I miss the theaters man

Unpopular opinion maybe, but I fucking HATE going to the movie theatre now, especially after COVID. People are always talking, on their phones, etc. It gets on my nerves. I've noticed a lot of people have lost common sense and etiquette the last few years.
That and the prices of movie tickets and concessions has always been outrageous, but now even more so. A large popcorn at Cineplex is like $9? Movie tickets for adults here are $14-$16 each usually. So a movie night out is easily $100 if there are more than two of you. Its just stupid..
With that being said, the last movie I saw in theatres was Beau is Afraid. I personally really enjoyed it, albeit it is a very strange film. Ari Aster is known for being different, though. Joaquin Phoenix absolutely slayed in this role. He portrays his character so well that it feels so real and you become very attached to his character. The film itself is quite long at nearly 3 hours, and has subject matter that isn't for everyone, but I say if you enjoy psychological films, go for it.

My last movie in theaters was also Mario, I saw many recommendations that I convinced my hubby to go watch it. Totally worth it!

I'm not sure if it's the prices, the people, or just getting older but the movies haven't been as fun or comfortable in the last few years.
I don't go as much and the last movie I saw was top gun maverick which was a good movie but I'd prefer to wait and watch it HD at home.
