I totally took advantage of the Buy 1 Get 1 for $2 Krispy Kreme dozen promo for today. I am not proud of myself. lol

The closest I got to a doughnut today was a cinnamon bagel from Panera. Still in the sweets category.

I ate a few (or a lot) of donuts today. I had just plain glazed donuts from a local place but they made me reminiscent of Krispy Kreme's glazed donut which are sooo good.

On Friday's we always have staff meetings, and our secretary bought everybody donuts. Somehow she found out flavors that everybody enjoys, and we had our own personalized donut. It was amazing haha. Even had my name written on it with icing

That is an epic secretary!!!! A keeper for sure!

omfg I mentioned to my parents that apparently it was National Donut Day and one of them said "I thought it was the L...BT...G? I get the letters confused..." and I had to remind them that that one was the whole month. They weren't into the idea of celebrating donuts, though.

Not into the idea of celebrating donuts? Through both parents away! LMAO totally kidding!

The department I work in had a competition for best/most creative doughnut. We all purchased one each and brought it into work. The staff judged who had the most creative and whoever won was appointed the Doughnut King/Queen for the day. Everyone then had to address said person as "Your Majesty" any time they talked to them. Was quite a fun thing to do.

@(you need an account to see links) They're both on some degree of restricted diets right now (soft food for oral surgery, et cetera), but even outside of that they can both be pretty judgy about food choices at times.

We got donuts for all of the children in our centre today. Normally we don’t give them sweets, but today they got a special treat. We cut them into halves for the kinders and quarters for the toddlers though to keep the portion appropriate. They were very pleased!

@(you need an account to see links) I mean, for me and how I interpret food snob is a 5 star pallet, healthy food, very small portions, and very expensive. I always tell my hubby I have a 2 star pallet and could never enjoy finer foods.

Dang I didn't know or I would have gotten one earlier today! Although, I wish I had a Kirspy Kreme here. I think they have the BEST doughnuts!! I believe we only have Dunkin here and they are okay I guess but definitely prefer Krispy Kreme

Yeah the other more creative ones got eaten before I took that shot haha, those were all that was left of the 60-odd doughnuts!
