I know the world out there seems particularly hard right now but I truly believe that the struggle is a step on the path to progress. We've never won anything without fight, and Pride was a protest - we have always been strongest together.

Happy Pride Month! I am proudly bisexual and happy that I am who I am. But for the longest time in my life, I felt like there was something wrong with me when I thought about sexuality. Any time I felt like I wasn’t just straight, I thought that I had to pretend, ignore, and “make it go away”. As someone who grappled with religious fear and shame, I felt compelled to just listen to others who are my own family members who I trusted at the time (wrong choice unfortunately) to come out to the first time who told me it was just a phase (they were also religious). It deeply hurt me and so I listened to the voices and stayed quiet.

I felt so bad about myself until I came to college and met loving, accepting friends who are chosen family members. I finally came out as bi in a safe space and felt accepted and like there wasn’t anything wrong with me. This is all rather recent since I just graduated so this month now means quite a bit to me to remind my inner child that I’m going to be okay and that I deserve to be here on earth as anyone else. That there’s nothing wrong with me.

Anyways, happy to see such a supportive community <3 thank you Clraik!

Happy pride month, it's a bit sad to see that this has to be a thing. Everyone is equal. I love that this gets the attention that it needs. But in one way it sucks that it needs to be a thing that needs to be hightend. It's fucking normal. You fall in love with the person not the gender. Love you all!

Oh, it's actually that everyone's choices go into the hat. So there's 9 of us, and 27 total movies. I think that if one person's movie got picked, if we pull another one of their movies, they're skipped over in favor of someone who hasn't had one of their movies picked yet.
