Happy pride month everyone! As an ally I hope we can make some more improvements to the understanding and acceptance that is so desperately needed in today's society. We made a stop by RuPaul's Drag Race show here on vacation to support and the messages that are given are so positive that it's disappointing how it feels like there are steps back in some parts of the world.

I have some friends that still don't feel like they can be themselves in every part of their lives and I hope that this year we can take some more steps towards a better future for all. Stay strong everyone!

I'm fine, no worries! But I just have no more patience for bigots. Someone from where I live (some sort of antisquat communion) told me I should "be thankful" and "have patience" when I requested a new LGBT+ flag for the main entrance cause the old one's torn and down for a while now and I'm like NO I've been asking since April since it's an important message to visitors and makes me feel welcome too and I'm not going to thank them on my knees and be like an subservient dog thankful for a scrap like the empty promise they'll "surely buy a new flag". Like when? Why does it take months? I'd buy one myself if they'd let me but I just get ignored. I know it's just a flag but the whole "shut your mouth gay and let us straight cis people play boss like we have been doing for centuries" attitude rubs me the absolute wrong way.

End rant lol, not really a positive story for this topic sorry :x
