Sorry, we don't recognize that email

Anybody ever had this issue with Yahoo before?
I was on the email last night, this morning I was signed out and when I try to login it tells me that they don't recognize the email. I've tried linking it to another email (gmail) as that's one solution I saw online... but that didn't work. I can't create the email because it says it already exist. Kind of confused because I've never had this happen before.
    What's my definition of success?
Creating something no one else can
Being brave enough to dream big
Grindin' when you're told to just quit
Giving more when you got nothin' left

Yup I've had this happen a couple of times, specifically with @myyahoo.com emails... no idea what triggers it aside from perhaps just inactivity (but my normal @yahoo.com ones are fine) but I haven't been able to get around it either. :/ Very frustrating, I've heard Yahoo support requires you to pay as well for support services?? so personally I never looked into any official support recovery paths. But if it is an important enough email it could be worth pursuing!

Only thing I can think of is going to help.yahoo and seeing if you can recover the account; i had to do that with a few old emails (including the ones you helped me find lol)

It's actually an account I created maybe....a month or so ago. I was using it to put in a ticket, which is annoying because I was almost through to getting what I wanted lol
All of a sudden it just dropped off out of nowhere. I really don't even know all the correct details because I usually just put random info in there. I could try paying for their support.. maybe that will help!

if you're going to try to go the paid support way, make sure it's not one of the scams lol they almost got me with an 800 number and wanted me to upload my ID, asked for my social, and a card number... NOPE

Literally locked out of every single one of my yahoo accounts this way. I exclusively use gmail and nothing else anymore.
Thankfully I switched my runescape account before this happened so I lost nothing of value but still annoying.

I actually tried that with high hopes that it may be a suitable work around.. but when I have to login to my yahoo account it basically brings me to the yahoo login page and I get hit with the same error unfortunately

Hmm really? I'll cross my fingers then. If I have to pay for the premium support, it would be well worth it, but it seems like an impossible task since my account seems to have been glitched out of the database or something lol
