If you can afford that much, why not just get a desktop?
Alienware Aurora it's one of the best imo.
I am looking to get a new gaming laptop; I checked Newegg, but did not find that many high-end laptops. Where else is a good place to buy a gaming laptop, I am looking to stay around $2000?

I would say a MacBook Air if you want something light
either macbook pro if you like apple or ibuypower.com sells nice laptops i currently have one from there and i have no complaints...super fast
i mean just get something that can handle what you need to do.
if it's just gaming, anything with an i7 core, and a ssd or hard drive that has at least 16mb cache, and 3gb+ speed, and at least 8GBs of ram, you should be fine.
also make sure the screen is 15' or higher
Definitely buy something high-end with a name like Alienware.
But all gaming laptops never last, trust me. I was going to suggest to buy a desktop for all gaming purposes but someone above already said that.

I always recommend a Macbook Pro, but NOT for gaming. Macs are a pain in the ass for gaming.
