Tomorrow is the 15th of April, which means that Coltzan's Shrine will have increased odds for better prizes!

For the best odds,

1. Visit between 00:00:00 NST and 00:59:59 NST, as well as between 22:00:00 and 23:59:59 NST (since you can visit twice a day!)
2. Have your active pet's intelligence be over 200
3. Have your active pet's current HP be less than 10

Yeah it's actually interesting that there are tidbits and hints in there the whole time:

I hear the shrine can give out one million Neopoints!!!
I wonder if the shrine gives better prizes at certain times of day?

Thank you for the info! If we look at this, they were short of the max intelligence bonus, which means they missed out on 3 additional points.

They got the diadem, which is prize 51. If they had a pet with over 200 int, they would have gotten a Princely Shield... Or if just 140 they would have hit the lens.
