What is the easiest way to gain a minimal amount of hit points. Say 1 to 9? I always seem to greatly overheal when I'm trying to be low.

I'd say losing a quick fight in the BD is the easiest.

Otherwise you're looking at getting hit with some of the wheel bad outcomes (mediocrity you can do every 30 min) or getting blasted by snowy.

I meant.. I can get to 0 easily. How does one gain 1 to 9 HP from zero?

0 is less than 10 for the shrine!

Otherwise you can lose then use a Healing Potion I for a minimal amount of HP gain.

Any idea how to lower your pet's hp to under 10? (Since Snowager isn't working for December)

Easiest way is to lose a BD fight, easy 0 HP.

I've been trying to have pets with <10HP max anyway (although that doesn't help with healing springs overheal), but other options are the wheels of mediocrity and excitement.
