One of these we are gonna see her in concert

I'm not a die hard fan but I love her music.

And as a gay it's like a right of passage right?

Ahahaha kidding aside we do want to see her in concert just because of the vibes in the crowd.

I really like her. I wouldn’t say I’m a Swiftie, but gotta give the girl props. She’s stayed relevant for decades, and Folklore and evermore were amazing albums! My sister in law went to her concert, and I’m super jealous 😂 i never buy merch, but I did buy her Folklore cardigan when it came out. It’s still my favorite. Congratulations on being able to go! I imagine it was spectacular!

The Taylor Swift fans I have a question: is the Swiftie craze strong enough at the moment that if Taylor wanted to aggrandize herself through a monument... would her fans be willing to build something similar to the Great Pyramids out of pure love for the performer?

Hello! Trying to start being more active here in the forums and found this thread! Will be going to the Lisbon concert in May and I am so so excited! Anyone attending any of the European dates?

I'll be seeing her in Singapore in March! Truly, I'm grateful that none of the other artists I like are as big as her — I don't think I can go through the nightmare that was getting her concert tickets again.

Since the ticket sale in July, there have been numerous stories of people falling prey to ticket scams, even despite people being aware that no one currently has any tickets in their possession due to Ticketmaster's delayed delivery system.

Have an amazing time!! Once I hear the chords to Cruel Summer and Enchanted it makes me want to go back.

On a sadder note, the concerts have been making my FYP on TikTok and it saddens me what's going on in Rio. A fan died due to dehydration and the heat was hard on everyone (Taylor & team included). The next day they addressed they tried to tackle the issue but people are sending hate to Taylor (to my knowledge it the stadium was the one with strict policies with no bringing water), and Taylor was the one during mid performance throwing a water bottle to a dehydrated fan. Ugh! So sad. Hopefully going forward no more serious bumps so everyone can enjoy the concert!

    Gotta say something about this...

Event organizers chose iron plates to cover/protect the stadium's grass AND put up plywood/siding over all the vents in the stadium to prevent people from watching the concert from outside the venue. That combined with the heat made the thermal sensation in the stadium to be measured around 120-140F (not a typo). People weren't allowed in with any water, because obviously it was being sold at an absurd price when you consider just how poor most of Brazil is and by very very few vendors who never got to the first rows of the crowd. People were queuing up since 10 am... Frankly it's almost miracle how these decisions made by event planning only lead to one death. It's so sad and infuriating. 1000+ people passed out, the two medical tents were so crowded people were being tended to outside... and so many fans complained about being prescribed and given Xanax by medical staff who claimed they were ANXIOUS and not obviously HEAT EXHAUSTED.

As for people sending hate to Taylor - obviously a minority of VERY angry fans went viral for doing that. People are mostly sad because the 2nd night was postponed an hour before Sabrina was supposed to go on, after everyone was made to wait in the heat again all day and you gotta give it to them, it is pretty maddening.

Also, you gotta consider Brazil is 86.6% the size of the US and she's only doing two cities. Which means SO MANY people travelled from very far, and obviously not all of them will be able to postpone acommodation and flights to watch the (new) Monday concert. Considering in her 15+ year career this is her first time coming to South America, people were and actually still are REALLY excited to see her. I'm sad some people seem to be lumping all of Brazil as this hateful fanbase.

I'm not a Swiftie, but plently of friends are and the whole country stopped to grieve Ana, the poor young lady who lost her life. The general sentiment is that no one blames Taylor or her staff - everyone is positively impressed by how she's handling this, and the distributing of water bottles in the first night was very, very sweet to see. She clearly cares.

This right here. Not to mention Brazil is recognized worldwide as having the most loving/excited fanbases, the hate is coming from very few but loud people. And honestly, while I do think the hate and how they're going about is very much not ok, they do have a right to be angry; what baffles me is that a lot of people who don't know what went down in its entirety just assume that Brazilian Swifties are being ungrateful - which tbh is a major lack of empathy considering all that has happened. People also got mad that not a single staff member even showed up for the announcement, it was all on radio and many even thought it was a joke of some sorts considering the timing, and came to realize it was true after Taylor herself posted it on her ig.

People really need to understand that things aren't that simple, and that the Brazilian fanbase is not hating on Taylor and agrees with how she is dealing with all of this - the most complains I've seen are more directed at the company and how they handled things, especially leaving everyone in the heat for another whole day before announcing that it was postponed.

Perfectly put - people also have to keep in mind NO SEATS ARE ASSIGNED ANYWHERE. Not in the sitting sections, not in the standing crowd... which means people had plenty of valid/reasonable reasons for getting there early and guaranteeing a good spot.
