Hello! I'm new~

Hello everyone, I'm Billy! Currently living in Canada and rejoined neo after a ~8 year hiatus in 2019 for the nostalgia. Been working on building my BD set and training up my pet... but reading the n_t posts on reddit it made me wonder why bother going through the grind on a lot of things. So looking forward to getting a bit more active (been a lurker) and trying out some of the tools available. I would like any advice on how to best navigate the forums here and anything that's worth looking into right away.

Other things about me... I mostly play neo on mobile! I do like other games, mostly a Nintendo person as well as some PC gaming.

Sounds like you relate similarly to a bunch of others. My best suggestion is to read through the forum sections you're most interested in, specifically the stickied topics as a starting point. We have a good search feature as well.

I hadn't considered using the search bar before - that's a great idea thank you! I like being up to date with all of the odd things going on in neopets - such as the random reactivation of smugglers cove and the altador cup drama is always a good time.

I was reading through the userbar thread but hadn't thought too much about it - would you recommend it?

For nintendo, I've been playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Luigi's Mansion 3 for the switch - my daughter took a liking to them so we've been playing them together!

For PC, I'm been very much stuck playing Dota for what feels like forever haha

Welcome to ck! I too took like a 8 year hiatus before coming back in 2019 too! I also wound up feeling like... why struggle so hard for my neo goals instead of just throwing a little money to get there so much faster!

I love Luigi's Mansion too, it's so cute and fun to play coop!

The co-op for both games are great! The Kirby one surprised me with how accessible it was - I recommend it!

I am also building my BD pet up! Pretty good name too, so she may be a tradeable pet at some point... maybe! I have grown very attached to her!
